In case you wondered how to style a petticoat without looking like you fell out of a 50s housewife advert - here it is. I wore this for a nice meal in the city, paired with a simple but lacey high-neck top, brown/ sparkly wedges, the red handbag and my favourite heart-shaped sunglasses. Chunky statement jewellery completes the look.

I love wearing this skirt everywhere. I don't save it for a nice meal out. I've worn it on a day out in the city with trainers, with boots, with chunky sandals and heels. I've teamed it with jumpers, denim jackets or fur coats. It's super versatile and always makes people smile. Wear it with a blouse, a t-shirt or jumper; a petticoat is friends with lots of garments, so just go for it and don't overthink it.

This look works well if you're in need of an outfit that is British-weather-proof. Is it spring, summer or autumn? Who knows, between March and November it could be boiling hot or jittery cold.
So we need something that's capable of keeping us warm but can turn into a heatwave look within seconds. Wear a strappy top or shirt, throw on a glorious shaket, a bodycon skirt and some metallic boots.
I like mine golden and pair them with a bright red, patent handbag. If it gets too hot, lose the shaket; if it's cooler, put on a jumper and some tights. Preferably all in some kind of shade of pink or red.

You can recreate this look with any colour theme. I'm just obsessed with pink and red. And a bit of gold. I like that this outfit works for pretty much three seasons.
Underneath the shaket you can wear a strapless top, t-shirt, or even light-weight jumper. The pink skirt pairs well with some pink or red tights. And if it should be really hot, swap the boots for some chunky sandals.

The Versatile Maxi Dress Look by Chameleon in High Heels
Ever had a dress you wanted to wear all day, every day, every season, every year, forever? Well, if you find it, never let it leave your wardrobe. Unless you're wearing it, of course. I found this goddess dress at a clothes swap and have been head over sandals since.
Colour-blocking is so cool, and this beauty does it all for you. I've teamed it with a bright yellow cross-body bag, because, you know, there's no such thing as too much colour.

This maxi dress is perfect for every season, with or without tights. In spring or summer, wear with sandals or sliders, in the cold season trainers or boots look fab with this, too.
Throw a baggy jumper over it or a denim jacket for cooler days, or a leather/ pleather jacket for a chilli evening.
If you fancy accessorising, put on a belt to give it a bit more shape, but especially in summer this is super floaty and light in a warm breeze.
Perisian Ballerina by Chameleon in High Heels
If I'd ever made it as a ballerina in Paris, this is what I'd wear strolling along the Champs Elysees. A stripey blouse (pink, red (of course) and white), and royal blue trousers. Finished off with a red handbag and pink ballet pumps. And, of course, oversized sunglasses.
No one wants to see those bags under your eyes after a night of vin rouge and too much fromage. In the meantime, I wear this to work, to go shopping (yes, also food shopping), to a coffee date and to drop off my kids to school.

Another corker for bright colours. Blue, red and pink work like a treat together, so if you're new to wearing bold colours, this is where you start. I throw a pink coat over this if it gets cold or an oversized blazer jacket. Plain black will do, or if you're colour-crazy like me, a bright yellow one hits the spot.

I'd take this look to France, and my own little country house with a vegetable garden or vineyard would surely follow. I love this dress and would wear it all day, every day. It's light, and breezy and keeps you cool even when it's scorching hot. Bonus 1: the colours. Bonus 2: THAT collar. Joseph and his technicolor Dreamcoat would be jealous. Throw on some chunky sandals, a straw hat and bag, and off you go.

This dress is ultra-versatile. Wear it to work, wear it at home, wear it to the pub, wear it on holiday. Sandals work well, as do trainers. I wouldn't wear high heels with this, but if you want to be really cool, just go barefoot.
Leopard Print Love by Chameleon in High Heels
This look is my take on casual chic, combining a sporty top with fancy tracksuit bottoms, finished off with a bold red heel and a small sequin bag. This look works just as well with a pair of trainers - classic white or funky pink, in fact, any colour you like! I've worn this outfit with a combination of shoes, making it perfect for travel, running errands, shopping or just hanging out with friends.

Don't be afraid to wear animal print. If you're just starting out, team it up with a relatively plain piece of other clothing. Heels lift most outfits instantly, whereas trainers add a more casual touch. This can make an outfit very versatile, taking it from casual day look into classy night look. Accessorise to your heart's content - I prefer gold jewellery.
Pink is Life by Chameleon in High Heels
Most of the time, more is more. I wear this outfit to work, but I'd happily wear it to meet Barbie, too. You can lose the red blazer and pink tights if you get too warm or throw an oversized coat over this outfit (preferably a pink coat) for the colder months. The vintage skirt is beautifully swishy, the sky-blue blouse has adorable ruffles and the patent ballerina flats could give Dorothy a run for her money! Red heels would work with this look, too, and instead of the red blazer, you could substitute it for (you guessed it) a dark pink one.

Some people shy away from mixing pink and red, but I find it an absolute joy! If you're not convinced, you could leave the red blazer and just wear a pink skirt and sky-blue blouse. Open-toe sandals or a pair of wedges would also go with this outfit, and some ankle boots during the winter months.
Sunny Coffee Date by Chameleon in High Heels
Another versatile combo, suitable for a stroll in the park, mooching around the (charity) shops, or meeting a friend for coffee. You don't have to wear a frilly, floaty top; any crop top will do just fine. I wear this one because it gives the illusion of curves (which I don't naturally have). I find body cross bags uber-cool and practical; even better if you can mix and match the shoulder strap. I chose sandals because it was sunny and warm for once, but this outfit will also work with a pair of Converse or trainers.

Pink and green in any shape or form go well together, but you can choose some other colours for this look, too. Throw on a denim jacket when it gets cold, et voila! Your look is complete.
